Totally new encoding method

This cryptic uses a new method for encoding the data within the image.  I can’t go into detail without giving away a piece of the solution but if you have figured out other messages you will find that my previous suggestions are useless.  You will notice that once again the image is dynamic.  However this time if you try and analyze what number do not change you will find that they all change.  Thus the data must be encoded in some other way.  Can you find it?

Improving my code vs Making things harder

As those of you who have looked at cryptic 4-7 already may have noticed; there were some black squares at the lower right of each image.  These black spaces represented sections of the image which were not carrying any data.  This evening I thought up a simple way to deal with these sections.  Now I could have made copies of my original versions and then maintained both.  Instead I decided to update the onces I had.  I’m not sure if this was the right call.  What do you think internet?  I suppose the other way I could have gone was to just use the new code in a new message and post that as an incremental update.  Thoughts?

Adding noise – Image encoding

Here we are using the same encoding scheme once again but have added a lot of noise.  The fact that with this image and the last one the image changes should give some hints. If I were approaching this I would probably get a number of sample sets and determine what data was not changing then attempt to decipher only that dataset.  However it is good to note that this attack vector would not be available if I only posted a saved copy of the image.

This basically the same as the last one but some randomization is added. If you figured out the previous message you can use what you learned before to attack this. Still very weak.

Cryptic 4 – Image Encoding

For this cryptic I have created an image with an encoded message.  The encoding of the message within the image is very simplistic but it will be a good jumping off point for further development.  I will be making more of these that will get increasingly more complex as I add layers of obfuscation and use various methods to encode and encypher the message.

I was thinking about cryptic 1 and thought i would make a little rework of it. This format should make the solution easier for use with a barcode reader. the original could really only be interpreted with software.  So I present cryptic 1A

So my previous messages have been rather short and were made intentionally weak.  This message is again using a weak encryption scheme however it is less obvious than the previous methods.  I’m not really sure how I would approach this message from an attack stand point.  So if someone comes up with a clever technique, as far as an initial approach, please contribute to the comments

Exciting new cryptic i threw together from a little internet research on weak algorithms. It’s a little more challenging than my others but a big hint should be that when you reload the page the cypher text is different but the message remains the same.
